Tybee Island

We didn't care for Tybee Island. A little sleazy. But here is a picture at the pier, and also a sign that Michael took a picture of. We didn't stay at HoJo's, but we won't be back anyway.

St. Mary's

Church in a little town called St. Mary's. We heard the bells, thought they were real. Turned out to be electronic. They were pretty anyway. We will probably go back through St. Mary's and stay at a bed and breakfast.

Amelia Island real estate!

House selling for $875,000 on Amelia Island. It was once a church.

This is an example of some of the beautiful architecture on Amelia Island. 

The Palace Saloon is apparently a local hot spot, as well as tourist attraction for night life. 

Only thing is, they are big on rules!

Amelia Island/first nigh

Heron on pier at Amelia Island. Still on California time our first night, we were strolling around the pier at about 11 PM. We saw this guy fishing, using the pier lights to spot the fish. Needless to say, he was quite successful!

We begin our trip!

We started our trip by staying with Cody and Julia before heading to LAX on 5/20/08.

We had dinner at a great burger place, "The Counter." Boy was it good.
